Hi,
I have a Paylink where an error occurred when trying to enable an F53 note dispenser in the config.
The Paylink is in a constant loop resetting the USB line about every three seconds. I can't reset it, I tried to upload a different firmware but that programming utility fails.
I need a way to reset the Paylink code but I didn't find any way since it continually disconnects from the PC.
Thanks
Nathan

Hi Nathan,
I will try to check out the problem.
If necessary, could you add a D type to an RJ45 cable and use a PC to download code?

Hi Nathan,
I've checked it out, and there's a bug in the Paylink code when an F53 is configured with a build in which the driver code is not present.
The only way forward is to reset the firmware in the Paylink. We have a standard procedure for this described here:
http://aardvark.eu.com/downloads/docume ... aylink.pdf
Basically you have to create a special purpose lead and use that to reset all the firmware in the Paylink and then load a reprogramming kernel.
You wil then be able to load the main firmware that handles an F56.
(it's obviously not relevant to you, but this bug will be cleared in 4.1.12.15)
Regards

Thanks Dave,
That worked, and I've loaded a copy of the MCD firmware which works fine.
Thanks
