Connect two JCM iPro on paylink

Hi everyone


I have the need to use two JCM iPro recyclers with the paylink.

Has anyone tried this combination?
Is it feasible?

Which protocol is better for this case, cctalk or ID-003?

Hi,

I don't think that iPro with cctalk is currently supported by Paylink. (The cctalk Vega is only supported with the single roll protocol messages)

iPro with ID-003, on RS-232, can be supported as Paylink has two RS-232 connections, the Molex one on the side and the RJ45 next to the USB connector. You just put two Protocol ID003 entries in Standard.cfg, specifying the two different ports.

The AcceptorBlock.InterfaceNumber field should let you tell the two apart.

From what you say I have to connect the two iPro with ID-003 to each serial port of the Paylink, one in the molex and another in the RJ-45

If you look at the configuration file that the serial in RJ-45 only has an option for the acceptor, only the RS-232 of the molex offers the two options of acceptor or reclycer.

The Standard.cfg is examples rather than an exhaustive list of options.

is completely acceptable.

Following your advice, I have tested two JCM iPro-RC with ID-003 with the paylink. As you claimed, the tests have been satisfactory

Now I can start with the integration work in my application using the paylink libraries.
