I am attempting to recognize when the device is disconnected from the system and so far have been unable.
I have tried calling the USBDriverStatus, but that returns the status of the driver, not the system.
I've tried calling methods that I assumed would need to read from the device (SerialNumber, ReadDispenserDetails, etc) but have only received the last known information back.
Since I know calling OpenMHE returns the correct error if my dispenser is disconnected at startup I've tried calling that, but once the driver is up and running it will always return with no error.
Since I can see in the USB driver log that it knows the device was disconnected I know the information is available, I just can't seem to get at it. Is there something obvious I am missing?
Thanks,
Lee
how to get dispenser connection status

Hi,
The return values to USBDriverStatus also let you know when the USB cable is unplugged.
STANDARD_DRIVER means that the driver is loaded, and talking to the Paylink.
USB_ERROR means that the driver is loaded, and can't access the Paylink. (Usually because the cable is unplugged).

I'm sorry about the late reply - the BB system failed and didn't notify me of new posts.
