NRI Crane Pelicano with paylink

Post by oscarerd »

Hello,

I'm using a Paylink Interface powered from the host's USB and a CcTalk Multi Drop with 24VDC-10A power supply to use a NRI Crane Pelicano bulk coin acceptor but it's not working.

With these settings and hardware I make to work hoppers nano and a Eagle Validator but not the pelicano bulk acceptor.

In my Standard.cfg configuration file use the line: Bulk Acceptor at 2 to enable pelicano but it's not recognized by the Paylink. When i connect the power supply, the pelicano make a short movement and no more. Using the SDK and demo applications i get the error: Dead, Fault.

To make Paylink and Pelicano work together:
- Is necesary to use an additional power supply?
- Do i missing a configuration step or aditionals settings?

Regards,

Oscar

Hi Oscar,

Sorry I didn't reply sooner - I missed your post.

Unfortunately I can't really be of any help - it sounds as though your Pelicano is just not working, rather than it being a Paylink configuration problem.

Hi everybody,

Finally we got support from NRI-Crane team; coin acceptors are setted to be used at address 2 by default. So they recommended to set our Standard.cfg addressing pelicano at 14 according its factory configuration, and it worked.

I hope that this information works for anyone in the future.

Thanks,
