Problem with downloading coin definitions to SR5i Eagle

Post by dotnetguy »

Hello.

We are having trouble preparing SR5i Eagle coin acceptor.
We would like to make it accept 0.20 EUR, 0.50 EUR, 1.00 EUR and 2.00 EUR.

So far we have tried to use "Paylink coin/note download" software (PayLinkDownloadWin.exe) with SR5FileSet.exe, but nothing doesn't seem to work.

Download completes successfully with status 17.

We have tried to use predefined coin definitions and created our own definition, but results are always the same:
1) Demo.exe sees acceptor (SR5i) at address 2.
2) One coin is defined as
Value 0
Description .....
Count 0
Routed path 4
default path 0
No. sent to path 0
Level to switch at 0
No in Escrow 0
inhibit unchecked.

Any advice how to proceed?

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem.
Maybe I do not have the good file. They were used with my SR5i, maybe I need others for eagle v2?

I would suggest you contact Crane.

I think the Eagle may be completely different internally to the SR5i.
Aardvark software developer. Please put all communication on the problem through the board for the benefit of others.
