Paylink Lite and coin name

Post by BadDesign »

Hi,
We have started using Paylink and Paylink lite, we use a Microcoin SP coin mech with various currency and channel configurations.

I was using the coin name property to determine the currency but this doesn’t appear to be populated in the Lite version.

This could be because my standard.cfg is not correct but I can’t find much documentation on how to set it for the lite version.

Should this property be populated and if so could you point me in the right direction?

Many thanks

Hi Craig,

The problem here is that the Paylink Lite unit is very cut down, and only capable of supporting a very old release of the Paylink firmware - which pre-dates coin name functionality.

We are now producing an updated version, Paylink Lite 2, which supports all the modern facilities, but at present this is only available directly from ourselves.

If you are interested in buying this, please email me directly at daveb@aardvark.eu.com

Hi David,

thanks for the reply, sorry I missed it.

we have got hold of a 2c unit and it does now provide the coin names which is great.

However we are now having a problem with the NV9 USB+, it shows as an acceptor but is in a fault state, if I plug the older Lite unit in it works fine.

do you know the standard.cfg line needed for the NV9 with the 2c?

many thanks

Craig
