Hello.
we are trying to setup Paylink with coin changer NRI currenza c2 blue, but we have problem with coin counters after refilling cassete directly (remove, fill tubes and return to changer). Counters are always higher than real number of coins. It causes problems, because system reports that coins are paid, but they are not (tube is empty, changer is buzzing).
Do you have any recommendation to correct this behaviour?

I am not an expert of the NRI changer - Crane should be able to help with this query.
I am aware that we added a special facility to Paylink for a changer, which was to zero the counts when the cassette was removed, and it sounds as though this is possibly your problem.
You will need to use an engineering beta release such as: http://aesoffice.eu.com/HTTPSpace/Payli ... -03-23.zip for both the Paylink.exe driver and the firmware. This will allow you to specify:
in the standard.cfg file, where <n> tells Paylink how many coins types are in the cassette.

Re: NRI currenza c2 settings
I asked Crane for help, but they redirected me to Suzo Happ and I'm still waiting for response.
I think that problem is in settings of coin changer because its internal inventory (in menu) is showing similar numbers, which are tranfered to Paylink. When I insert empty cassete, it reports 0 coins correctly.
I tried to download beta FW but link doesn't work.

Re: NRI currenza c2 settings
The link should be working now, we've had problems with our internet connection.
I don't know the intricacies of the Currenza, but re-reading your original post the symptoms you report sound like the result of running the changer as a collection of level 2 tubes, rather than one level 3 system.
The normal Startup mode for Paylink is the the level 2 tube dispensers are disabled, and are only used to read out the coin levels. All payouts are done using the single level 3 system dispenser, which should only operate tubes that actually have contents. (The level 2 tube dispensers still update to reflect the actual payout that happens, but you can't control which coins are paid.)

Re: NRI currenza c2 settings
Is it possible to set number of coins in dispenser (single tube) manually?
Re: NRI currenza c2 settings
The theory behind Paylink operation is that it tells you about the unit, so it always reports the values returned by the changer.
There is no way in the standard MDB protocol to change the levels the changer reports, so there is no way to set the coin counts as you'd like.
I don't believe that any part of the system operation pays any attention to these coin counts - they're only reported to you for information.
(The current Paylink beta is at: http://aesoffice.eu.com/HTTPSpace/Payli ... -03-23.zip) if you can't find that, then look in http://aesoffice.eu.com/HTTPSpace/Paylink for a file called PaylinkV1-1-1-2-7_xx-xx-xx.zip

Re: NRI currenza c2 settings
We resolve counters problem on NRI currenza c2 with auto flow-up settings which set counters to predefined values.
But we have similar issue with iPRO-RC. Is it possible to set number of banknotes in recycler after filling cassete manually?

Re: NRI currenza c2 settings
At present there is no facility for this.
We may look into it in the near future,
