Re: Configuration for USB peripherals
I have question about your recommendation for note recycler that is fully supported by PayLink, because we will also need some device that have bigger recycling capactity than VEGA-RC.
Re: Configuration for USB peripherals
if you like JCM equipment, their I-Pro operates perfectly with Paylink in ID-003 mode.
In the near future (1-2 months) I will probably get Paylink updated to also operate with the Vega in ID-003 mode - I've talked to JCM support about the problems.

Re: Configuration for USB peripherals
Brand is not important, we want to use PayLink as controller and have reliable system.
Re: Configuration for USB peripherals
I don't actually know what the advantages / disadvantages of various recyclers are!
We attempt make Paylink work with all the ones we find, so I suggest you talk to device suppliers to get a short list, and then check back if you need to know about Paylink support.

Re: Configuration for USB peripherals
We received JCM iPRO unit for testing with PayLink, but we have problem make them communicate.
When we connect unit to PC with USB cable we received these values from JCM Tool Suite:
We have serial cable from iPRO that ends with Canon9 connector, which we connected with adapter to PayLink RJ45 connector (number 9).
PayLink config contains this line to enable ID003:
Proble is that PayLink doesn't see iPRO, just reports:
Is it necessary to set anything else?
When we connect unit to PC with USB cable we received these values from JCM Tool Suite:
Code: Select all
Flash ROM: U(CZE)100-SH2-RC ID003-05 V190-20 30SEP14
Protocol ID: 003
PayLink config contains this line to enable ID003:
Code: Select all
Protocol ID003 on connector RJ45 With Recycler
Code: Select all
DP: ID-003 acceptor 12060002 at bdc setup
