New Linux kernels and usbfs

Post by majstor »

Hello,
new linux kernels are now compiled without usbfs support and usbfs is marked as deprecated (that means it will go away).
So, communication with PayLink interface is broken. :(
Any idea how this can be solved?

So how is it going?

Allthru there is a workaround to enable usbfs on newer Linuxes,
it is not a good idea for a banking system to do so, if we want to
pretend to be a secure one.

We now have a completely source distribution of Linux Paylink which doesn't use usbfs.

You can download the beta test package from: ftp://aesoffice.eu.com/FTPSpace/4-1-10- ... _CD/Linux/
