CounterIncrement

Post by devinashed »

Why does the paylink only update the meter in maximum chunks of 255 ?

could it not use the maximum available - 65535?

Just a thought.

Mainly it's to cover errors in the driver program. As the meter won't wind back, at 255 per update it takes a while to wreck a meter. People very rarely update by more than 2 or 3.

Has there been any movement on this issue ?
Would be really useful to me if pos,
Can happily increment large numbers on other platforms (i.e pluto 5) with no problems to date.

I don't think we will update our base product.

If this is really a problem for you then if you let me know which version you are using, we can produce a "special" version with the 65535 update in it.

That would be very much appreciated if you could do a version (and get the boss of my back!)
Hope it's not too much trouble

There is a now version at: http://www.aardvark.eu.com/downloads/so ... 1-12-6.zip that should use the 65535 increment command.

Please confirm that this works how you would like.
