HELP! Novice at hand

Post by Kevin »

I hope to recently develop a machine for the company I work for and I need to purchase some coin control hardware. The Milan board looks like the right choice for me. I have tried pc credit boards with no luck. The question I have which may seem simple is that the board only seems to have one cctalk compatible output. If this is so how do I connect a coin validator as well as a coin hopper at the same time? Or even a note acceptor and a coin validator? Anyone's help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Cctalk is a "multi drop" communication bus. You can connect up to 255 devices into the same connector. Normally this is done by daisy chaining a single set of wires from the Milan board past the various units.

The web site is in need of an update - you will find that when you contact Money Controls to buy a unit that the main line product now connects via USB and is sold by them as Paylink.

There is a Paylink developer's package available. If you buy that, plus the acceptors / hoppers you're thinking of using, you will be able to set up a complete test system on your PC.
Aardvark software developer. Please put all communication on the problem through the board for the benefit of others.
