Inputs and Outputs in J7-J8

Post by carlose »

I thought that any pin in J7-J8 could be used like an input or output, but when i made the connections, only J8 seemed to behaviour like an output. Is it correct? J7 pins are for inputs an J8 pins for outputs?.

Another question: there is a header in the left-bottom zone of the card (near the multiprotocol port) with 8 pins ant two jumpers, and there isnt information about that in the manual. Where can i get info of the use of that header and its jumpers? Is the header related with the J7-J8?

Although the circuity is identical, all current firmware release divide the ocnnectors the way you describe J7 input and J8 output.

the 8 pins / jumpers are for Hi2 (multiprotocol support) - they set up the signalling levels used.
