Hi,
I have just tried to run a C# Paylink application on my target system and I get an Unhandled Exception: ‘Could not load AesImhel.Net.dll’. It all works fine on my development machine.
Both AesImhel.Net.dll and AesImhel.dll are available in the local folder, so don’t see why it can’t be loaded.

Hi Nathan,
The most likely cause of your problem is that vcruntime140.dll (a standard part of the Microsoft Visual C redistributable package) is not on your system, and it is required in order to use the Paylink Dot Net Class library.
The best way to fix this problem is to download it from Microsoft at the page here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... x?id=52685 (Ignore the fact that the page refers to Visual C++ 2015)
If for some reason that isn’t convenient and you are using Windows 10, then the standard Paylink release actually includes copies in the folder: ‘SDK\Dot Net\ReDist’ – within this folder the simple script LoadVcRuntime.cmd will copy the correct DLL into the correct system folder. (You will have to run it with Admin privileges.)
Older versions of Windows are more complex, so there is no similar shortcut.
The WalkThough program included in the SDK distribution (in the top level folder) checks that all the drivers and DLLs are correctly installed, so a good move early on to check out your target system build is to copy that into the same folder as the Paylink.exe driver program and run it.
Regards
Dave
