Recommended operating system for development with Paylink

Post by xagduran »

Hi:
Let's do a development on the Paylink. We are newbies in this.
What version of Linux do you recommend?
What if it was Windows?
Yes, we use Linux, we plan to use a Raspberry Pi 4.
Greetings.
Angel.

Hi,

You can use anything - we support all Windows from XP through to 10, and just about any Linux system.

As long as you are not using USB connected peripherals, most of our code is in the Paylink unit. So for Linux we are happy to release the source of all the support code (here: http://www.aardvark.eu.com/downloads/so ... ist.tar.gz) which is then built on your target OS. You can get the Linux build instructions here: http://www.aardvark.eu.com/downloads/do ... rGuide.pdf
