Paylink, iPro and SSP

Post by Nathan »

Hi,

We have just received information from JCM that the production of the JCM-iPro will be discontinued shortly.

As an alternative we've had good experiences with ITL's NV200 on other machines, so that would be a good alternative. However, the devices work with the protocols eSSP/SSP (smiley-secure-protocol)

Do you see the possibility that the SSP protocol could be integrated into PayLink?

Thanks

HI Nathan,

Paylink fully supports the whole Innovative range.

Paylink can't do SSP as the electrical connections are different, but all Innovative peripherals support cctalk communications. Paylink uses the DES option on the NV200 recycler (SmartPayout) using Innovative extensions, and supports the NV200 as a standard cctalk acceptor.
