Acceptors not recognized

Post by AvivCohen »

Hi, we have a paylink with an acceptor and dispenser installed on our vendor machine. We're trying to make the Demo.exe work, however it does not recognizes the Acceptor. What could the reason be?

It depends on what you mean by "Not recognised".

If it's the name that is displayed, Paylink has a built in list of Acceptor identity strings and if the acceptor matches one of these, then a specific 32 bit code is assigned.

If Paylink doesn't recognise the string, then it assigns an "unrecognised" code, which is reported by the Demo program.

The type of acceptor can still be seen in the AcceptorBlock.Description field.

If the problem is that Paylink doesn't initialise the peripheral, then please post a Paylink log file.
