ccTalk JCM Vega 100 Note Acceptor . Config: No NV12 / Vega

Hi,
I face some difficulties regarding establishing transmission between Paylink and JCM Vega 100 Note Acceptor using WalkThrough.exe application.
Paylink.log claims : Config: No NV12 / Vega.
What should i check to be sure that everything is correctly set-up.

This is my electrical connection.

Vega 100 is up, just blinking blue informing that it waits for a host, it has address 40 according to Vega Adjust Zero tool.

I tried various options of
DIP Switch Block DS2 Switches
#6 through #8 to ON to select the desired Communications Interface Protocol :
- ccTalk (No Encryption)
- ccTalk (Encryption)
- ccTalk (Checksum)
But neither worked

Hi,

Are you using an acceptor or a note recycler? (You have specified a note recycler in the configuration file)
For any model of acceptor you just need:

Note Acceptor at 40 [CRC BNV 846627]
This gives a standard acceptor. You can add the CRC and/or BNV nnnnnn options to match the device.


If you are using a recycler, then your problem is that the Paylink firmware comes in a number of variants (The potential amount of code has quadrupled since the original design) with a different selection of drivers. The message "No NV12 / Vega" indicates that the Vega driver is not found. (It is not part of the base Genoa... variant you have loaded.)

The table on page 16 of http://aardvark.eu.com/downloads/docume ... Manual.pdf shows the variants available.

I downloaded firmware that is compatible with one roll jcm vega and it works now.
