Hello,
I would like to report strange issue - maybe you will have some advice for us.
We are running 3 brand new parking machines with Paylink for last 2 months.
On one of them constantly (even few times a day) this issue occurs:
- paylink gives error "Selftest fail" and red LED is flashing. After disconnecting USB cable and reconnecting again after 1 second, everything starts working properly.
On second one it did happen only once.
On third one not even once.
Thanks for help,
Marcin

Re: Paylink losts connection - reconnecting USB works
Hi,
That is definitely strange. Assuming you have the standard metal box Paylink then removing the USB power cycles the unit, which will clear most faults!
Just from your description I can't really help - it would be worth swapping the units between the first and third to see if the fault moves over. (If it does then you could replace the unit!)
The Paylink driver writes a log, generally called "paylink.log" in the default folder where the driver is run. Can you possibly retrieve that log from the faulty system (on a day where it repeatedly fails) and send it to me (daveb@aardvark.eu.com) - if you use zip it generally gets quite small.
Cheers
Dave
