Unfortunately the Standard Paylink Lite is fixed at 4-1-10-8, the units were pre-programmed when that was the current version. So, I should not bother to check/update firmware? Also, is it possible to change serial number on the Paylink Lite device? Is there a Linux equivalent of "(Windows) Pa...

New Linux kernels and usbfs

Hello,
new linux kernels are now compiled without usbfs support and usbfs is marked as deprecated (that means it will go away).
So, communication with PayLink interface is broken. :(
Any idea how this can be solved?

So far as RAM goes I have to disappoint you. The batteries were for intended for a "power off" Eprom read-out which was never implemented.
Is there any change about this over past years?
