Hi,
The Paylink with a problem is running a testing release so that is possibly the problem.
The closest firmware to both the Paylinks you're running is http://aardvark.eu.com/downloads/softwa ... -10-15.zip
I make no guarantees, but you might find that downloading that works.

Re: JCM UBA-10 or ARDAC Problems with paylink due to ID-003
Hi, It sounds as though you have a collection of old Paylink units. There are hardware compatible with the latest firmware, but you may have problems updating the old ones and then running them. The latest firmware releases require a driver that process a configuration file, usually called "Sta...

Re: Status of Removed iPro-RC Toggling Between Empty and Non-Functional
Hi Paul,
I strongly suspect this is Paylink accurately reporting the information from the device.
Can you get a log from Paylink while it is doing this?
Thanks
Dave

Re: Paylink losts connection - reconnecting USB works
Hi, That is definitely strange. Assuming you have the standard metal box Paylink then removing the USB power cycles the unit, which will clear most faults! Just from your description I can't really help - it would be worth swapping the units between the first and third to see if the fault moves over...

Re: Python integration?
So far as I know, no-on has ever done anything using Python. If you are determined to try, it looks as though you're going to need to use the ctypes extensions - described here: https://docs.python.org/3/library/ctypes.html I know nothing at all about puthon, but I gather a simple Paylink call will ...

Re: Are sequence numbers same as indexes?
As you say, they are the same.
Yes, you need to "scan" ReadDispenserDetails() to find the dispenser (if it exists) and then use the number parameter from that as the Index in SetDispenseQuantity().
We'll update the documentation in the next release.

Re: Hopper Coins Count
Sorry missed the second part. You can't alter the value of Count, it is the count of coins (bills) ever paid out by the dispenser - with most dispensers this is held in the unit and preserved over power down. You are expected to record the value before calling EnablePeripherals(), and then look for ...

Re: Payout related issues
For 1) I recongnise this, but will need to spend 1/2 hour checking what the fix was. I'll be back.
For 2) I can't see your problem. At 16:24:12.470 the DLL was unloaded (usually because the application exits) and so Paylink turned off acceptance.

Re: Connecting devices to Paylink
You are basically correct. For the smart hopper, you have to be using cctalk mode - I don't think there's any extra interface required, you just connect Tx and Tx to the cctalk data line. RJ45 or RS232 - you can use whichever is easiest to make cables for. Paylink provides legacy support for an RS23...

Re: F56 counting too fast/too many rejects.
I do not recognize the problem you are discussing with the F56. Paylink issues a "Pay <n> bills" command, and the unit should do it. For any problem with Paylink, you should always get a log and attach that. In that way I can analyze how the Paylink is trying to drive the unit. Please set ...

Re: Dont recognize my SR3 and Univerdsal Hopper
You can ignore 19:00:34.900 Failed call to delete - it's a trivial internal problem. You should find that with nothing connected the messages go away. It might be a short in cable if it's still there with both the SR3 and Hopper disconnected. 24V to the hopper is merely the most common problem, have...
